August 27th, 2010

When you talk to the experts in HIV/STD prevention, the subject of Female Condom is not always discussed. At the same time, you can’t deny that it is the one and only condom  that  passes control for preventing STDs/HIV to female hands.

Trojan Fire & Ice Condoms latest hit

July 10th, 2010

According to new research, made by the Trojan “Degrees of Pleasure” survey, there is a relationship between hot weather and the frequency of sexual activity.

7 out of 10 Americans experienced sex in different weather conditions, varying from thunderstorms to hurricanes.

People living in areas with hot weather conditions seem to engage in sexual activities more often (For example, in Miami, the average person has sex 102 times per year, and in Atlanta the average person has sex 88 times per year).

One of the results from the survey states that 27% percent of participants feel that a tingling sensation could make sex better.

To satisfy the public’s taste, Trojan launched a new revolutionary condom called Trojan Fire & Ice. Fire & Ice mixes warming and tingling sensations together.

As the latest hits Trojan Ecstasy Condoms, Trojan Fire & Ice condoms are made from high quality latex.

“Whether it’s hot weather or sex in the snow, Americans are clearly looking for variety in – and out – of the bedroom,” said Bruce Tetreault, Group Product Manager for Trojan(R) Condoms. “Our latest innovation, Trojan(R) Fire & Ice(R), has lubrication inside and out which delivers warming and tingling sensations to both partners, making it the perfect addition to any bedroom forecast.”

Fashion Designer Condoms from Christian Audigier

June 20th, 2010

Christian Audigier, a famous fashion designer, now has his own line of condoms. Christian Audigier condoms are made of natural latex and are designed to be taste-free and odorless. The primary feature that makes these condoms unique is the design of the head and reservoir tip, which are larger and “baggier” than those of other condoms. This design makes the condoms easier to use and better at protecting against STDs and unwanted pregnancies. Two varieties of Christian Audigier condoms are available: “Ultra Premium” and “Monsieur Bond Extra Large.” More information on these condoms, as well as Audigier lubricants, can be found on audigiercondoms.com.

PRIVATES new game for PC and XBOX

June 14th, 2010

We all realize that the majority of teenagers and young adults are “hooked” on video games. If you think about it, this is a target audience for promoting safe sex techniques, sexual education and the use of condoms. What better way is there to do this than by combining them into a video game? This idea came to a company, Zombie Cow Studios, which worked together with British Channel 4 to create a game called “Privates”. In this game, little marines with condom hats are fighting inside the human body (specifically the private parts) to kill gross infections and monsters. This concept is young, fresh, funny and it promises to be a lot of fun. At the same time, it promotes Healthy Concepts for our society and deserves attention.

The best part? The PC version of this game will be available FREE from the Channel 4 and E4 websites this summer.

You can follow for updates on “Privates” on twitter.com/thezombiecow.

The signs of the Zodiac can guide us through our life, as well as give us some predictions about the future and our hidden talents.

Jaime Foxx and Ludacris for HIV prevention campaign “I know”

March 31st, 2010

On March, 4th Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) started a new media campaign “I know”. The goal of this program is to encourage African-American population to discuss issues about HIV and AIDS. The venues of the program include popular social media – Facebook and Twitter,  just to name a few. People know plenty of information about HIV/AIDS , but it’s not as “hot” of a topic anymore in casual conversation. Treatment from HIV/AIDS became more powerful, there are not as many deaths anymore. At the same time, African-American community suffers more than any other communities from this devastating disease (statistics show young African Americans have one of the highest rates of HIV in the United States).

Our celebrities, including actor Jaime Foxx and singer Ludacris, came out with public announcements. If people will go for testing, start using condoms or just discussing those issues more often, than “I know” campaign will succeed.

After surveying 12,000 people via Internet, Durex (the condom maker company), revealed the yearly British Sex Survey. According to it,

- One third of England’s population will have sex with anybody for a sum of £1,000,000;

- At the same time, 65% of the country does not have any intention to cheat on their loved ones;

- 5% are thinking about a coworker and 14% are thinking about their ex, while having sex;

Here comes the shocker,

– 22% of participants never used condoms!

Oh, no! In one of the most developed countries, with one of the most educated populations, every 5th citizen at some point of his life had sex without protection? Listen up, sex educators, Health Ministry and social workers! You have to get your nation up to current information about AIDS, STDs and unwanted pregnancies.

Vatican and Condom Vending Machines

March 18th, 2010

Pregnancy and STDs among teenagers became serious issues dealt with all over the world.  One million teenagers become pregnant every year. Media, music, society teach our teenagers that sex is an ordinary part of teenager’s life. There is only one solution – sex education. To educate young generation about safe sex should be a common task for schools, parents, community.

Keplero High school in Rome decided to be the first one to install a condom vending machine as part of educational process of safe sex. It created a squall of opinions. Catholic Church claimed that accessibility of condoms pushes teenagers to have sex.

“This is not about stimulating the use of condoms or intercourse,” Antonio Panaccione, the school headmaster, told The Associated Press. “On the contrary, it’s about prevention and education.”

Cardinal Agostino Vallini, said it “cannot be approved by Rome’s ecclesiastical community or by Christian families who are seriously concerned with the education of their children.”

Vatican does not think that condom use will help to prevent pregnancies or STDs among teenagers. In their opinion, moral issues and education are much more important.

Piero Uroda, the leader of Italy’s association of Catholic pharmacists, said condoms were to blame for greater than before number of rapes.

Condom thoughts from Jon Stewart

March 11th, 2010

condom-Jon-Stewart

For those of you, who think I am not aware what Jon Stewart says blogging,  let me assure you, I do.

Jon Stewart is my favorite news anchor. I did not make a mistake, his independent and unique way to comment on current news and events makes me THINK. I enjoy his sense of humor, his way of analyzing our life.

That’s  why I felt so excited to see him live in Atlantic City.  He was performing in Borgatta.

His monologues and sketches were real, visible and funny.

I especially enjoyed his thoughts about a ban on condom’s ad on public TV. It comes down to following –

Do you think that teens will be encouraged to have sex by watching condom’s commercials? No, they most likely go wild after drinking beer. However, beer commercials are running on every single channel!

It was worth to drive to AC just to breeze fresh air coming from the ocean and get a bit of refreshing thoughts to my head.

Jon, you should live forever!
