Rule#1 - Maintaining your privacy
Use your common sense and caution when communicating with other members of the dating site. Remember – majority of dating sites do not screen their members.
Rule#2 – Analyzing the answers to your questions
When getting to know each other ask questions and analyze the answers. Do the answers seem too sweet? Do they avoid some questions? Do the stories make sense?
Rule#3 – Being careful with overseas contacts
Some people can take advantage on limited knowledge about life in different countries. Never get involved in ANY monetary transactions with overseas bank accounts.
Rule#4 – Exchanging photos with your new dating friend
Definitely ask for photo and send him (her) yours. If your new friend does not ask for photo – it is strange. Picture always makes contacts more personal.
Rule#5 – Giving up your email address
When you feel comfortable, give your email address to your new friend. It is a good idea to create a new email address and dedicate it to this contact. If something goes wrong in your relationship, you can always close the address.
Rule #6 – Giving away your phone #
If you feel secure enough, give your phone # to your new contact. Never give your home or work number – only your mobile phone number.
Rule #7 – Meeting face to face
a) Meet first time in a public place
b) Always, tell somebody close to you that you are going to have this date
c) Make first date quick and effortless. Tell them that you have only limited time to meet them at lunch or coffee break
d) Never let your date give you a ride from your first meeting
e) Smile! Have fun! However, do not leave your drink unattended.
Rule #8 – Moving ahead
If you like your date from the first meeting, try not to move ahead too fast.

Good Luck!
